Futuristic Technology: Pecera Robot Fish Cleans Your Clothes Without Detergent

Can you imagine that in the future, there are robotic fish that clean your clothes? Chan Yeop Jeong has an interesting vision for our future appliance, he has come up with Pecera, a water tank that accommodates robot fish called Dofi to wash your dirty clothes without detergent. It’s a sustainable way to wash your clothes, a concept inspired by “Doctor Fish” that nurtures human skin but this time, all these fish run on hydroelectric power and clean garments. Each fish is equipped with tiny sensor and camera to detect dirt on your clothes, by using suction motion, these robot fish clean all those dirt particles without detergent, in this way, there’s no need for multiple washing circles mechanism that can save a lot of water.

This unique method to clean your clothes means that you don’t have to worry about oxidation or discoloration of fiber, no more damaged textiles. These robot fish stay in water with hydroelectric power and continue obtain energy for living, all those dirt is then purified by Pecera, basically it’s a maintenance free washing device.

Machines of Advetures Book Series Feature Futuristic Transportation and Technology

We found these cool futuristic jets on Michal Jelinek portfolio, even though they are only conceptual project, they could inspire you to design your next superhero sci-fi aircraft.

The “Machines of Adventure” is a graphics/design/art book series that aggregates all my love and passion to technology, industrial design and transportation of all kinds. It pays the tribute to all the “catalog” collectors who dreamed as kids over the drawings of planes, cars and robots. It is nor comic book, nor a portfolio. It is a real story, where the main heroes are the machines in both literary and figurative ways, while there is a space for human and non-human characters too. ;-)

Futuristic Enigma Car Concept with Bio-Electric Hybrid Technology by Paul Howse

The futuristic Enigma car project is intended to represent the height of automotive exclusivity. You could argue that the only thing that separates one Veyron or Phantom from the other is the color and trim that the first owner specifies from new, whereas with Enigma, the patination of the bronze on the roof of the car would develop with the owner over time. When the car is sold to its next owner, it would be taken back to the factory, the body panels removed and would be retained as a piece of automotive sculpture for their beautiful landscaped gardens. The next owner would get a new piece of bronze to start their own story. Paul Howse, the designer, really wanted it to be like a sculpture on wheels, a work of art.

Futuristic Toyota FCV Plus Concept Car Uses Compressed Hydrogen as Its Power Source

Toyota has debuted several concept cars during Tokyo Motor Show 2015, one of them got our attention due to its futuristic design. Toyota FCV Plus is a futuristic concept car created with future hydrogen-based society in mind, compressed hydrogen has a higher energy density than electricity, it can be generated from wide range of raw materials. Hydrogen is a promising future energy source, keeping this in mind, Toyota envisions a sustainable society where hydrogen energy is in widespread use through this concept car. The main goal of this concept car is to add an all-new sense of purpose to the automobile by turning fuel cell vehicles from eco cars to energy cars.

Aside from having its own hydrogen tank, Toyota FCV Plus can also generate electricity directly from hydrogen stored outside the vehicle. This hydrogen then transformed into a stable source electric power for use at home or on-the-go. when you don’t use the car as a transport, you can share its power generation capabilities with communities, create an organized local infrastructure.

Futuristic ORB Scuba Diving Helmet Allows You to Breath Underwater Without Heavy Equipment

ORB Scuba Diving Helmet is a conceptual oxygen re-breather, a 3rd year final project at Staffordshire University. Thomas Winship, a product designer, has come up with a futuristic scuba diving helmet, it uses modern technology known as re-breathing to recycle your own oxygen to allow you to breathe underwater. The problem with current scuba diving equipment is that they are too heavy and bulky, most often than not, uncomfortable to put on. This project aims to design and develop more compact and easier to wear scuba diving equipment while increasing the overall experience.

ORB Scuba Diving Helmet is made up of several layers of pressure resting materials to stop ears becoming pressurized. The outer shell and most of the extremities are made of abs plastic with a matt finish. Equipped with Bluetooth technology, this product is designed to allow others to communicate and socialize while underwater, sharing information about their environment.

Hudōr Faucet : Futuristic Faucet Is Inspired by Audi, Designed for Grohe

The Hudōr Faucet incorporates a system that allows the user a “hands-free washing experience” so to speak, by integrating a motion detector, an easily replaceable liquid soap dispenser and a bacteria disinfectant black light. When we think about washing hands, we immediately envisage a faucet and basin. Fraser Leid attempted to create a piece that changes the perception of hand sanitation entirely.

Futuristic Police Heavy Drone Concept by Maciej Frolow

Drones are getting popular by days, these unmanned aerial vehicles can be controlled safely from the ground. They’ve been increasingly used in numbers of civil applications such as firefighting, security work, or policing. Maciej Frolow has a vision how this drone can help police officers to do their works efficiently.

This futuristic Police Heavy Drone Unit is a conceptual surveillance drone for both air and land. It is equipped with smoke/gas grenade launcher and pursuit lights, the rack can be customized to fit any requirements for various situations.

This drone is pure fictional and the design is more to be interesting visually than capable of flying correctly ;) However all the components do exist and a machine of this kind can be manufactured with our existing technology. The drone is 4.2-meter long and 4-meter wide. It gives to the propellers enough size to lift it’s heavy weight. I’m working on a military version of this drone.

3D modeling, texturing, and rendering are done in The Foundry modo 801. Mesh fusion plugin was used for many complex parts. Flares and color correction done in Photoshop CC.

HDT-01 Concept Future PC Uses Projector Technology

The next step in the digital personal computer design. How do they look ? The HTD-01 Concept is the first PC, which uses a mini LED projector. The design team combines design and the requirement for the future. Well, it kinds of remind us about Microsoft’s promise of holographic computer in 2015 with HOLO 2.0.

Do you still remember our old, large, and big rear projection TV? Well, this project task was to come up with a new concept with such a screen. It might look like an outdated rear projection technology, but it will be equipped with state-of-the-art techniques of transparency and holography. The first approach was to put together thin glass and projector technology, but the position of the screen to the viewer was not easy to implement and might become a problem. The engineers had to calculate a perfect viewing angle so that viewers don’t have to adjust the screen. The second approach is the design phase where the design team tried to miniaturize the device, creating a concept that is just one step away to holography computer. The short-throw projection would continue to evolve until there’s no static projection surface anymore where sometime in the future, these pictures will be displayed as holographic floating in the air, this is the main objective of the project.
