Together, Nike and Hyperice have teamed up to create wearable technology in form of boots and vest. Nike x Hyperice High-Tech Boot is designed for athletes, helping them to perform better throughout training and competition. One of Nike’s athletes, LeBron James, says that taking care his body has always been an important part when it comes to preparation as a basketball player. Through testing Nike x Hyperice High-Tech Boots and Vest, he believed that these products would change the game for the way athletes warm up and process recovery.
Nike x Hyperice Boot promises a wearable high-top shoe that provides heat and dynamic air compression massage on demand for feet and ankles. Wearing these boots will help make user’s legs feel light during workout, they can keep your feet warm. Even when you wear it post-workout, the warmth helps recover user muscles as well. Each boot comes with a system of dual-air Normatec bladders bonded and warming elements that are capable to evenly distribute heat throughout the entire upper. It means that this technology can drive heat deep into the muscle and tissue in the foot and ankle. Both performing and recovering can be done naturally and much faster.
It’s possible for athletes to synchronize heat and compression of both boots simply with a press of a button, but it is also possible to choose to heat left or right shoe individually. There are three distinct levels of compression and heat powered by a battery pack in each shoe’s insole. At the moment Nike is continuing the development process based on Athletes’ feedback as they testing these boots through training and recovery routines.
